All data lives on AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1). No cross-border data transfers. Backups are encrypted and region-locked. Your DPO can verify this in writing before go-live.
We use Aadhaar offline XML only — no UID stored, no UIDAI API call at check-in time. The signed XML is verified locally and discarded. No Aadhaar number ever touches our database.
Student records are never used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared with analytics vendors. OnePass operates as a data processor for your school, not as a data broker.
Onboarding includes explicit consent collection for each data category. Consent records are stored and auditable. Parents can request deletion — we provide the workflow to fulfil it.
WhatsApp Business API messaging requires opt-in. Our onboarding flow collects it properly — double opt-in via OTP confirmation before the first message is sent.
